UNC men’s basketball claims seven national championships, starting with their pre-NCAA Tournament title in 1924. Over the course of a century, the team amassed six more titles under three legendary head coaches. Frank McGuire helped the Heels win their first men’s basketball championship, followed shortly thereafter by his assistant, Dean Smith, who took the program to new heights and won two titles of his own. After Smith’s retirement and a search for UNC’s hoops identity, Smith himself convinced former assistant Roy Williams to take up the mantle. We know how that worked out – three more national championships. Products are mocked up on a size S. Graphics may appear smaller on larger sizes.
